New Look For Turlock District Fountain

October 13, 2019

At Turlock High School we have our fountain that has been recently restored, this fountain has been here for several years. The Turlock High School fountain has received funds from the class of 1944 in order to place the fountain in front of the main entrance of the Turlock District Office. The fountain was designed by Thomas Moscato with the supervision of the art department and Miss Viola Siebe, it stands six feet tall with a pool at the base. According to Turlock Journal, Best of Turlock poll, the class of 1944 came together to restore the fountain, and have been helping the community for 64 years.  About 200 donors contributed to the restoration of the fountain, it was topped with a boy and a dolphin carved out of pink granite, this is an object missing to the fountain for 10 years. This fountain has been a big part of the school district office for years now and it’s at the very center of the district office which makes the fountain stand out and get the attention of people.
