Wildfires Rage On

On July 13, 2021, California had a wildfire named Dixie. The wildfire started near Feather River Canyon. It had destroyed more than 960, 470  acres. The wildfire has caused the forest animals to move and find new homes. So many people have left their homes. More than 5 thousand firefighters are currently fighting the fire. Only 75% of it is contained. It’s been active for 63 days.  The wildfire affected 5 counties. The cause is still going under investigation. 1,329 structures have been destroyed. 95 structures have been damaged. Since then the fire has started. It’s been 84 days since it’s been active.  94% of the wildfire was contained. Guy Fieri and his crew also helped feed the firefighters who were fighting the fire and when doing so he made a lot of people happy.
