The Down Fall of Kanye West

He made Graduation. That’s what all of his fans have been thinking and saying when trying to defend him. Kanye West, one of the greatest lyricists there ever was, has recently caused some drama and division among his fans and the communities he has claimed to support. “I’m a bit sleepy tonight but when I wake up I’m going deathcon 3 On JEWISH PEOPLE,” Kanye stated in a tweet. “The funny thing is I actually can’t be Anti Semitic because black people are actually Jewish also You guys have toyed with me and tried to blackball anyone who opposes your agenda.” This is an extremely shocking statement the rapper and producer have recently made, which the citizens and corporations of America have reacted to in many different ways. West has stated that due to his antisemitic remarks, he has lost around 2 billion dollars. He also lost connections with many fashion designers and many relationships with other singers and songwriters. Adidas cut ties with Ye and also took many of his designs for his Yeezy shoes. Many celebrities also gave negative reactions. Donald Trump called Kanye West a “seriously troubled man,” which surprised many people. However, this is not the only hateful thing that West has done recently. He also requested a meeting with Trump, in Mar-a-Lago. When he arrived at the meeting with Trump, he had brought along a friend of his, Nicholas Fuentes. Fuentes is known as a white supremacist which is obviously very racist. After all of these things that West has been involved with, his fans are finding it difficult to support him. This situation goes to show that if a celebrity makes one racist tweet, they can lose nearly everything.
